trip don't stumble

so far this summer has been summered the way summers are supposed to be.






It has been sensational, outstanding, dazzling. and it's only going to get better since I'M GOING TO NORWAY!!! omg, yes it's true! AAAAH!!!

southern sojourn

last thursday i road tripped it down to myrtle beach. i left super early in the morning and it was raining and cold. 9 hours later i was floating in the ocean. the water down there is really warm.
my brother came up from charleston and we hung out at daniel's show. at midnight it was his birthday (my brother's). my cousin works at the venue where they were playing, and she happened to be working that night. it was like a mini family reunion.
after a bunch of margaritas, dan and i and the rest of the band of horses people went swimming in the ocean at about 1 am.
next day we went to wilmington, nc and then richmond, va then back home.

for some reason i don't like to capitalize while i am writing, but then afterwards i always feel like i should go back and properly punctuate but i am not going to do it

occassions

taking pictures at carnegie hall is strictly forbidden and they were quite on-top-of reminding us that, so unfortunately I haven't any documetation- but the show was amazing.

what had happened

There is a bug infestation in my house.
It was really hot, we used the ac for the 1st time this year.
There was a nuts thunderstorm earlier, it was scary and exhilarating and I was amused to see the parking lot flood and hail hit the windows and traffic cones and trash cans blowing down the street.
I got 4 new tires on my car today, which made driving over tree branches post-storm all the more pleasing.

O-kay, Tomorrow is Wednesday, then on Thursday i am going to New York- my boyfriend and 2 of my goodfriends are playing at Carnegie Hall. It is going to be amazing. I am so proud!
And, very very stoked to see Betsy!
